All objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit some trace of thermal radiation. Our Thermal Body Temperature Cameras convert Infra-Red radiation into gray-scale values and then matches them to temperature value with an algorithm.
A thermal camera with a high-temperature accuracy can detect elevated body temperature that indicates fever. Ideal situations for the use of these cameras is in screening visitors, employees, shoppers, commuters, and construction workers.
There are three main components to a Thermal Body Temperature Camera:
1. Thermal Camera
- With a measurement accuracy ±0.5 °C or ±0.3 °C dependent on the option chosen
- Measurement distance: 0.8m-2.5m or 2m-7m depending on the option chosen.
- A maximum of 30 targets at the same time
2. Blackbody Calibration Unit
This is a standard temperature source used to calibrate temperature. Because measurements are affected by various environmental factors, all devices must be calibrated in real-time.
3. Smart NVR
Because NVR recorders receive a pure digital signal, their video quality is superior to DVRs at the same resolution. These are most suitable for small or medium-sized applications.
